The Ocean and Conservatory Courses are Troon Golf-managed golf courses that provide golfers with the best opportunities to play on PGA championship-level landscapes. The courses, among other Troon-affiliated-golf courses, are named in Golfweek's 2022 Best Courses lists. In fact, the Ocean Course ranks at #11 and the Conservatory Course at #12 on "Top Public and Private Courses in Florida" by Golfweek.

The Ocean Course

The Ocean Course offers a stunning view along the lakes and serene wetlands. The award-winning golf course was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus, whose expertise is evident as you explore the landscape of the course. It features six holes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean-the most in Florida, designed to give you the perfect golfing experience. Another notable Nicklaus contribution is evident in the final four holes, nicknamed "The Bear Claw" by the golf course designer.

The over 100 acres presents a unique challenge thanks to its environmentally friendly Platinum Paspalum turf. The course's layout and superb design cater to any golfer's need, whether you are a professional or a casual player looking to have some fun. The Troon Golf managed course has a 10,000-square-foot putting green and chipping green. The holes and golfing landscape have landed the course several accolades from famed Golf publications.

The Conservatory Course

The Conservatory Course also has a serene view and a classic link-style layout. The 140 acres course was designed by Tom Watson, who was named PGA Player of the Year six times and held eight major championship titles. It has a domed glass clubhouse with a nature conservatory, cocktail lounge, and golf shop. The clubhouse and cocktail lounge offers a relaxing spot for visitors and members, while any golf merchandise can be accessed at the golf shop.

Architecturally, its clear stonework, streams, and waterfalls can set the tone for members and visitors alike. The course is the longest in Florida and is known as the state's greatest challenge. Its signature hole, #8, is a scenic island green, giving you the best golfing experience. To guarantee an amazing view of the whole course, the 18th hole has a tee box elevation of almost 200 feet. The course underwent a complete bunker renovation in 2021, securing a favorable standing among Troon-affiliated golf courses.
